Asian benzene down $68.50/mt day over day at $1,067/mt FOB Korea on April 1, tracking the fall in crude and amid lower MOC trade. Crude oil futures declined in mid-afternoon Asian trade on April 1 as both the US and Iranian Presidents signalled deescalation efforts. The front-month ICE Brent futures contract fell $4.45/b to $102.21/b, while the naphtha C+F Japan marker was $115/mt lower over the session at $1,092.50/mt on April 1. During the Market on Close assessment process, one trade was reported. BP sold a May loading FOB Korea cargo to Trafigura at $1,079/mt. In CFR China discussions, the last offer for May arrival was heard at a premium of $59/mt against the May weekly Mean of Korea (wMOPK) for a 6,000 mt cargo with South Korea or Southeast...
