Asian toluene $10/mt higher from the previous close at $909/mt FOB Korea and $10/mt higher day over day at $905/mt FOB China marker on March 6. The last time the FOB Korea marker was higher was at $915/ mt, June 25, 2024. Upstream crude oil prices remained firm, with the front-month ICE Brent crude oil futures rising 70 cents week over week to $85.95/b March 6. A Southeast Asian trader said demand for toluene is high in the region, but no offers were heard in Southeast Asia. The CFR Southeast Asia marker was up $199/mt week over week at $979/mt, in line with a tradable indication heard at a premium of $70/mt to the FOB Korea marker.
