Asian PVC: Prices flat to lower amid improving export markets / Formosa Oct offers remain unchanged MOM / China domestic carbide-based PVC prices down Yuan 100/mt

Asian PVC prices were flat to lower in the week to Sept. 24, as some signs of improvement were seen in the export markets, while domestic Chinese prices for carbide-based PVC dropped marginally. PVC CFR China unchanged week over week at $705/mt on Sept. 24, below offers heard at $730/mt, partially considering a tradable indication heard at $700/mt. According to several market participants, including traders and a producer, UNV1 Formosa Plastics has announced its PVC offers for October, with FOB UNV1 at $655/mt, CFR China at $710/mt, and CFR India at $760/mt.
