Asian propylene prices rose in the week to Sept. 4, in line with stronger crude oil prices earlier in the week. propylene FOB Korea stable day over day and up $60/metric ton week over week at $1,120/mt, while CFR China was stable day over day and up $60/mt week over week at $1,160/mt. Chinese domestic and dollar-denominated prices spiked early in the week due to rising crude prices, amid an escalation in the US-Iran conflict.
