Asia PE: CFR Fareast, Southeast Asian prices continue to fall amid slow demand / Slight uptick in Chinese domestic trading activity / Satellite Chemical no more plans maintenance at LLDPE units in 2025 / China's September PE imports up 7.6% MOM

Asian polyethylene markets softened in the week to Oct. 29 amid continued sluggish demand. HDPE Film down $10/mt day over day and week over week at $840/mt CFR FE Asia, while LLDPE butene was down $5/mt day over day and week over week at $830/mt CFR FE Asia. Meanwhile, LDPE G-P was assessed down $15/mt day over day and down $20/mt week over week at $995/mt CFR FE Asia. Trading remained slow in the dollar-denominated markets and buying interest for US cargoes remained thin due to trade uncertainty.
