2-ETHYLHEXANOL Asian spot 2-EH prices hit a one-month high in the week to Aug. 13, as tight supply and elevated feedstock costs persisted. "Propylene prices are rising faster than expected and supply is very tight due to low run rates," a China-based 2-EH producer said. "Overseas buyers are only interested in low-priced cargoes, but it is not possible to buy low now as prices are going to rise higher."
