Asian methyl methacrylate market prices for Chinese-origin cargos were higher in the week to Sept. 1, as supply stays capped, pushing domestic prices further up. The FOB China marker Asian methyl methacrylate price was at $1,550/mt Sept. 1, up $25/mt from the previous week. ©2026 For the CFR China and CFR Southeast Asia markers, prices were up $10/mt at $1,675/mt and at $1,775/mt, respectively, over the same period. Domestic MMA prices continue to make gains, producers in China said. “Domestic supply is tight,” a China-based producer said, referring to the jump in domestic MMA prices.
