Glacial acrylic acid ex-works North and East China down Yuan 200/mt day over day and Yuan 350/mt lower week over week at Yuan 7,400/mt on Oct. 28. Spot prices have started moving consistently lower, a trader in China said. However, the trader said that current demand cues bode well for GAA, though worries about the larger macroeconomic sentiment are adding pressure. "It is a good demand season, but the macro [economic environment] has some uncertainties," the trader said. The ongoing trade tensions as well as volatility in crude oil prices are impacting buying interest in the market across various commodities, the same trader added.
