Asian ethylene dichloride spot prices remained unchanged as market participants adopted a wait-and-see approach in the week to Sept. 18. CFR Far East Asia EDC unchanged in the week to Sept. 18 at $190/mt, in line with tradable indications heard at $190/mt. CFR Southeast Asia EDC was also unchanged over the same period at $200/mt, in line with tradable indications heard at $200/mt. Market sources said EDC prices continued to remain under pressure due to weak downstream demand for PVC. EDC FOB US Gulf at $120/mt on Sept. 16, unchanged week over week.
