the Conventional Slabstock Polyols FOB China weekly marker at $1,600/mt in the week to Sept. 4, in line with tradable indications heard at the same level. Propylene Oxide feedstock costs were heard to be higher as supply tightness for both propylene and propylene oxide persisted. Such tightness has been pushing up offer levels, a producer in China said. However, downstream demand had remained tepid over late August and the start of September as buyers were less willing to accept high offer prices, the producer added. Other offers were heard at $1,100-$1,500/mt FOB China for drum volumes of Conventional Slabstock Polyols, roughly 210 kg of the polyurethane feedstock.
