Asian Benzene: Prices edge lower amid lower MOC trades / Two MOC trades / Sinopec raises East China benzene listed price to Yuan 8,450/mt

Asian benzene $20/metric ton lower on the session at $1,006.33/mt FOB Korea on July 24, amid a lower number of trades during the Market on Close assessment process. The front- month ICE Brent futures contract rose 46 cents/b on the trading session to $98.02/b, while the assessed naphtha C+F Japan marker fell $33/mt over the session to $952.75/mt on July 24. During the MOC, two trades were reported. Gunvor sold a September-loading FOB Korea cargo to TotalEnergies at $1,002/mt. Tricon bought a September-loading FOB Korea cargo from Gunvor at $1,004/mt. In FOB Korea floating price discussions, a trade for November loading cargo was heard at a premium of $19/mt to the November weekly Mean of Korea (WMOPK) during the MOC.
