Asian acrylonitrile prices fell in the week ended Nov. 11 due to sluggish spot demand and softer buying indications across regional markets.ACN CFR Far East Asia $25/mt lower week over week at $1,070/mt Nov. 11, partially tracking the sharp decline in the domestic China market and a selling indication at $1,020/mt FOB China. Following the trading session, tradable discussions were heard to be lower at around $1,050-$1,060/mt CFR Far East Asia from sellers, indicating a weak buying appetite and subdued downstream demand. In Southeast Asia, ACN CFR Southeast Asia at $1,065/mt, $25/mt lower week over week, tracking the downtrend in the Far East Asia market amid thin spot buy-sell activity.
