Asian Styrene monomer CFR China and FOB Korea markers at $836/mt and $826/mt, respectively, on Oct. 10, up $9/mt day over day, tracking weakness in futures and upstream markets. The front-month November EB2511 styrene monomer futures contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange closed at Yuan 6,743/mt on Oct. 10, down Yuan 75/mt day over day, as of the close of the afternoon trading session at 3 pm Beijing time. In upstream markets, Asian benzene was assessed $5.66/ mt lower on the session at $692.67/mt FOB Korea Oct. 10, while the front-month crude oil futures closed $1.25/b lower on the session at $64.98/b.
