Asian phenol stable week over week at $1,025/mt CFR China, while the CFR Southeast Asia marker was similarly assessed stable on week at $1,095/mt Sept. 1. Discussions in the domestic China phenol market remained rangebound, with East China ex-tank prices heard at 8,300-8,350 yuan/mt, compared with 8,320-8,350 yuan/mt the previous week. "Limited changes in supply-demand fundamentals in the domestic phenol market, with feedstock being the main price support," a producer in China said. Meanwhile, ex-tank prices for acetone in the East China market were similarly stable on week, with discussions heard at 7,150-7,300 yuan/mt, compared with 7,200-7,250 yuan/mt a week ago.
