Asian MTBE FOB Singapore was at $1,201.16/mt on Oct. 2, down $20.17/mt day over day from Oct. 1, with the cash differential to the FOB Singapore 92 RON gasoline Mean of Singapore Strip (15-40 days) remaining stable at a premium of $8.50/b. Spot trading activity was negligible Oct. 2, with Chinese participants away for the National Day holiday, while upstream oil price moves remained in focus. A selling indication for a November-loading cargo was heard at around $1,150-$1,200/mt FOB China, one Singapore-based trader said. However, the same trader said there was no firm cargo on offer due to China's National Day holiday. At the Asia close, the FOB China marker was at $1,140/mt, down $10/mt from the previous day, according to data. Meanwhile, crude oil futures fell during Asian afternoon...
