Asian benzene $5.66/mt lower on the session at $692.67/mt FOB Korea Oct. 10, amid a decline in upstream markets. Crude oil futures extended their losses in midafternoon Asian trading on Oct. 10, following a drop of more than $1/b overnight, as a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas eased geopolitical risk premiums. Upstream, the front-month ICE Brent futures contract fell $1.25/b during the session to $64.98/b, while the naphtha C+F Japan marker $7.50/mt lower at $576.75/mt on the session. During the Market on Close assessment process, one trade was heard. Glencore bought a December loading FOB Korea cargo from China Base Resources at $692/mt.
