Asian phenol $75/mt higher week over week at $1,135/mt CFR China, while the CFR Southeast Asia marker was also assessed up $75/mt during the same period at $1,195/mt March. 31. Discussions in the domestic China market continued to strengthen for phenol, with East China ex-tank discussions heard at Yuan 9,400-9,500/mt, compared with Yuan 8,900-9,050/mt in the previous week. Ex-tank prices for acetone in the East China market similarly rose week over week to Yuan 7,850-7,950/mt, from Yuan 7,300-7,500/mt the previous week. CFR China acetone $65/mt higher week over week at $975/mt, while the CFR Southeast Asia marker was assessed up $100/mt week over week at $1,150/mt March 31.
