Kyodo Sakusan restarts acetic acid unit

Kyodo Sakusan has brought on stream its acetic acid unit in Aboshi. A source in Japan informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the unit on July 19, 2025 following a turnaround. The unit was shut for maintenance on May 7, 2025.” Located in Aboshi, Japan, the unit has a production capacity of 450,000 mt/year.
