Nobian has issued a force majeure (FM) on supplies of caustic soda from its plant in Rotterdam. A source in the Netherlands informed a team member, “The company has declared the FM this week. Further details on the duration of the FM could not be ascertained.” Located in Rotterdam, Netherlands, the plant has a caustic soda production capacity of 713,000 dmt/year.
